Impress Solutions has expanded its long-standing relationship with Sage to include Sage X3, extending the expertise we already bring to Sage customers into enterprise resource planning.
The expanded relationship means more organisations can work with Impress to implement, integrate and support Sage X3 — bringing finance, manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, sales and supply chain together on one platform.
“Impress Solutions brings nearly three decades of experience supporting Sage customers and a deep understanding of complex business requirements,” said Nikola McNicol-Kenney, VP In-Life Customer Growth at Sage. “By expanding our relationship with Impress to include Sage X3, we can help more organisations gain greater visibility and control across their operations, backed by the expertise and support they need to get real value from their technology.”
Nearly three decades of Sage experience
Impress has worked with Sage since 1997. During that time, our role has grown beyond software supply to include implementation, development, integration, infrastructure and ongoing support.
That breadth matters when an organisation reaches the point where separate finance, stock, production and reporting systems are holding it back. An ERP project does not sit in isolation: it has to connect with the processes people follow, the data they rely on and the other systems the business needs to keep.
As both a Sage partner and a software developer, Impress can take responsibility for those connections as well as the core ERP platform.
What Sage X3 brings to growing organisations
Sage X3 is designed for organisations whose operational complexity has outgrown a smaller finance system. It supports multi-company, multi-site, multi-currency and multi-legislation operations, with finance, manufacturing and supply chain processes using the same underlying records.
For leadership teams, that creates the potential for a clearer view across the business. For operational teams, it reduces the reconciliation and rekeying that arise when each department works from a different system or spreadsheet.
The result depends on more than choosing the software. Processes need to be mapped before they are configured, data needs to be cleaned before it is migrated, integrations need to be designed around the systems that will remain, and users need the support to make the new platform part of their day-to-day work.
Implementation is only the beginning
Impress supports the full Sage X3 lifecycle: discovery and requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, development, migration, integration, testing, training, go-live and ongoing optimisation.
That continuing relationship is important. Once a system is live, reporting needs change, processes improve and new integrations become necessary. The aim is not simply to launch an ERP system, but to help customers keep getting value from it as their organisations evolve.
The expansion of our Sage relationship builds on what Impress has always done: understand the business requirement first, recommend the right-sized solution and stay accountable for the technology around it.
